Still Life With Lemon

Still Life With Lemon was one of the first projects that brought together art and my electronics hobby. The piece is a grade school science project—a battery made from lemons—that powers an LED bulb which, in turn, illuminates a lemon. Fairly quickly, the lemons rotted (which was unexpected) and changed the tone of the piece entirely, from tounge-in-cheek humor to entropy and decay.
